Celebrating Amanda Loverseed: The Artist Behind LOLVE’s Most Charming Illustrated eCards
Meet LOLVE eCards Artist Amanda Loverseed
Amanda Loverseed has been part of LOLVE’s creative heart from the very beginning — and her illustrated eCards continue to be some of the most loved, shared and talked‑about designs across our entire platform. Her work blends storytelling, nostalgia, humour and exquisite detail, creating digital greetings that feel personal, joyful and full of character. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Amanda, her artistic journey, and the beautiful eCards she has created exclusively for LOLVE.
A Storyteller at Heart
Amanda is a full‑time professional illustrator whose career began in children’s publishing. Her books have been published by HarperCollins, Walker Books and other major houses — a testament to her ability to create worlds that feel warm, whimsical and alive. Her illustrations always tell a story, whether it’s a bustling village scene, a cosy Christmas moment, or a playful “Cut Thru” design filled with tiny hidden details.
One of Amanda’s signature touches is her “hidden snail” — a tiny character she often tucks into her artwork. It’s a delightful feature that fans love searching for, and it perfectly captures her playful, imaginative approach to illustration.
From Buckingham Palace to LOLVE
Amanda’s work spans an extraordinary range of formats: cards, prints, cross‑stitch, posters and more. She has created designs for many well‑known clients, including Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, where she recently illustrated their official Advent calendars.
Her “Blue Butterfly” greeting card became the fastest‑selling greeting card in the UK, cementing her reputation as one of the country’s most beloved illustrators.
Today, Amanda lives on the South Downs with her husband, surrounded by countryside that inspires her daily — and that sense of nature, charm and gentle humour flows through every piece she creates.
